Recently went a camping through Glacier, Yellowstone and Tetons. Here is a couple of my favorites. K-1 with the 24-70mm and the Elk 70-200mm

Well, the D FA 21/2.4 limited is available soon ... and off course I have to find out if I "need" this lens ...
As we all know, when it comes to the "need" for a new lens and you have already more than 20 lenses with k-mount it's all about finding a justification for myself (and, more importantly, my wife) to spend the money.

So I took the K1 and my SMC A 2.8/20 out this afternoon, hoping the shots would show that the old lens is totally useless ...

Hmmm ... I'm afraid the D FA 21 will have to wait a little longer, unfortunately

Great shot. Wanna laugh? I have "almost" this exact shot framed and cropped almost identically to yours, about the same time of year judging from the scattered leaf colors, on the wall across from me right now as I sit at my desk and type... took mine with a Pentax 645 over 25yrs ago, and your K-1 shot looks like your original RAW probably has every bit as much or MORE detail as my Kodak Vericolor VPS 160 I was shooting a the time. Man how time flies and tech evolves!!! Sadly, my print looks like it's begun to shift magenta... I need to find the negative and re-print it... or better yet, take a nice trip and re-shoot it.

Fantastic image. And even more so using Pixel Shift--I can't see any artifacts in the moving water. I'm assuming you're doing the initial processing in Raw Therapee? Thanks!
