ok, harsh truth time. I did some backyard astro a few years ago and trying to get back into it since Orion is out. I feel I was more ahead of things than i am now. This is a single shot, .5 sec (anything longer and I get trailing) guessing f/8 (5.6 w/ 2x tc). K-1ii, 150-450 so effective 900. ISO 3200 (anything lower wasn't really yielding anything. Basic stretching in Photoshop. No detail (less than I expected, knew I wouldn't get much), alot more noise than I expected as I've done astro at 3200 before with less noise.

I took 350 10 second photos with my Pentax K-1ii in crop mode with my Pentax HD *300mm f4 using the in camera astrotracer function for tracking @ f4, ISO 100. I stacked them with Deep Sky Stacker along with 16 dark frames, processed the result with StarTools, and then used Photoshop Elements 21.
