My wife and I went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens yesterday (near Richmond, VA). They have a butterfly house there and I had the DFA 100 macro WR on the K-1. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the butterflies...

Very nice close ups!

I struggle beyond calling them spiders, butterflies, grasshoppers...

I can recognize Monarchs and Swallow Tails, but otherwise, I'm pretty much at a loss...

Beautiful captures! Were the first two blue on the other side of the wings? They look like Blue Morpho butterflies. I got several shots of similar ones in Prague at a Butterfly House.

Our family visited the Woodrow Wilson Museum and Library in Staunton, Virginia. It is not a very big place, but has a few things of interest. Apparently, this house was where he was born and lived until his family moved to Georgia. After he left the White House he and his wife moved back to the house and spent his few remaining years there.
