Yes, it's a great location with all old native trees and no light killing pines anywhere. The forest is populated by horses and ponies that roam freely everywhere.
They keep the grass low and the undergrowth down so light just floods in. Couple this with the open ground either side of the river and that it is approximately NNE/SSW facing, the sunrise just bathes everything.
We have had a lot of rain recently that has also pooled on the ground and that helps too. There are compositions everywhere and in all directions, I'm like a kid in a sweet shop. It comes down to, shall I step one foot this way or that way to add or remove some feature.
I've never had such a keeper rate
