UGH!!!!
I am so sorry to hear about Bailey! Time will help, but we never forget. And why would we want to forget our best friend, right? So... we take the good with the bad.
Kidney's seem to be the bane of small breed dog's (and cats). I have to really try hard to remember not to give my dog people food, especially chips, etc no matter how much she begs or looks cute, there is way too much salt for them.
My little 5Lb Yorkie, Ariel, is 15yrs old now, and I am beginning to dread the day... I know my wife will have a complete and total breakdown and she is already talking about a new adoption when the time comes, to lessen the blow.
Personally, I'd like to fly solo from here on out... not because I haven't enjoyed Ariel immensely, it is just that I don't want to be that emotionally invested again.
In some ways, I guess that means my wife is tougher than me.
This shot was taken day 1 with the K-1, Ariel, always my handy model... was testing iso3200 and the Tamron 28-75, first time used on FF since moving from K5.
Nothing special, just a grab shot of doing what she does best lately, napping. Heh.
