Just wondering???? With all these cameras arriving, are we going to see any photos from them or are we just going to praise the bodies and worship the grip?

If I had mine I'd have a lens mounted and be snapping before it got out of the box.....All my squirrels are on "Red Alert" and ready to pose on a moments notice. Let's see some photos!

Regards!

They are using them for two things

First: teasing us from the usa that still have to wait a week or two before we get ours.

Second: are only card board cutouts, and used for props for their current non card board models

Either way im still waiting for comparison photos and threads. K-1 vs d810, k-1 vs a7rii, k-5 vs k-1, and k-1 vs 645z

I'm happy to just sit and stare!

Ok so I notice the SR to be subtle maybe its less pronounced on smaller lenses like the limited s?

But yeah so far happy as pie :-)

I'm having a difficult time imagining how you could accomplish this. Do you suppose you could employ an Otis minion to show us a demonstration on how you can mount a lens and take pictures with a camera that's still in the box?

Pretty easy really.....put a dab of peanut butter on the box and he'd eat a hole in it likkity-split. Drop in the battery, mount your lens and snap away before he ate on the body......you'd better be fast!

If these are the same batteries as my K5IIs I will be shooting within minutes, I guarantee!...and unfortunately (as mentioned), I'll be posting them right there. I bet you are anxious to see some already!

Regards!

You mean that you have a production model in your hands and that you are not allowed to post sample images ???
What sort of official Pentax "porte parole" are you ?

Just interested in a general comparison. Its just a curiosity from always hearing about those threads between the k-5 and k-1, and how close the crops compare. If i had to pick from your nice selection of lenses id say the 24-70 and the 35 ltd. Jpg would be fine

I think between this and the fact that it's not USB3, Ricoh is oh-so-subtly hinting that we should just be using card readers.
