A20 won't be close in the starburst department, only 6 blade aperture = 6 point star.

A couple portraits from this evening, Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8, both wide open.

I am quite happy with my new Sigma 24-60 2.8.

Tested with Sigma 10-20 yesterday, the lens is partially FF with serious vignetting.
I have a choice to shoot at cropped mode of 4800x3200 pixels or partial FF?
i took 1 shot @10mm crop mode for comparison, another shot @12mm partial FF mode. After cropping and removing the vignetting I got the final image wider than 10mm crop and resolution of 6122x4165 pixels, much higher than 10mm cropped with resolution of 4800x3200

3 shots of the above settings shot with pixel shift, blended and processed:

If interested - I did a special test for the DA15 in this tread. Using different crop factors you get some interesting px image dimensions.

Enjoying all these wonderful shots as I sit in a chair pulled up to my front glass door waiting for the UPS delivery truck and my new K1. Got squirrels lined up and waiting on my cedar fence to be pixel shifted. Hoping for an exciting day ahead!

Keep 'em coming, I'm watching!

Regards!

To celebrate my K-1, here's a pair of great tits!

Adjustments in camera raw. Shadow recovery and a bit if contrast / clarity.

I'm seriously not a birder, however, I haven't had the chance to shoot landscapes yet with the new toy.

Hey, Rupert. Momma Red says Hi! to Otis! She says not to worry too much about gussying up for the K-1 since it will show warts and all anyways. This is a crop of the K-1 in crop mode, DA*300, ISO3200, 1/750s, f/6.7. Only touched up very lightly in post. - Jack

K-1

Ahoj,

Hello,
I have since last week, K - 1 and I see that I am not alone in the south. I like to shoot football and the transition from K -30 was shocking for me. The new K-1's JPEG quality is so good that the only crop the image and put on the club website .
