I had some free time this morning to shoot some old barns near my place.

The mid-day light was harsh but it was fun putting the 15-30 through some various tests. It seems like this lens has a lot to offer once one takes time to get to know it.

Pentax K1 Hands on Session during the weekend

Recently purchased an unused sigma 24-60 f2.8 off the Australian distributor, heavy, may have focus problems, reasonably sharp in mid apertures, but with a bit of work might make a reasonable walk about lens if you can't afford anything better.

BIF TIP: Subject tracking improves when you shoot with both eyes open. Shift your attention back and forth between your view-finder eye to your paired eye image. Take the shot(s) when it fits in the view-finder, then crop to compose the best pose once you get back home.

You actually caught focus? It followed and focuses as you tracked the bird? The only way I've been able to get those guys is to prefocus and hope it flies into range.

Hey, Michael. You will note that swallow is flying with handicap - it is missing a couple of primary feathers on its right wing. Try to find a fully feathered one and repeat
