Very nice image but it is not City Hall. It is Forbes Library.

Lunchbreak taken with K-1 and M50/1.4 by Jason Doss, on Flickr

I was thoroughly amazed I could pull any detail at all out of the thoroughly blown out sky. Not a great shot by any means, but just showing there's at least some recoverable dynamic range in the highlights. Fantastic images by everyone here!

Always enjoy the model photos you took. This time, must really find out on your lighting setup.

is it done by a single flash/strobe for most of the shots? Wireless triggered?

Otis Squirrel thanks you for your return reply!....He does this quite often for what he considers "worthy" Pentaxians but you would be surprised at the number that never return any thanks to him for his actions.
He does ask that you keep those lovely shots coming...and advises that if it gets too hot, have her feel free to "dress lighter"!

Most of the problems were due to "shooter error"....which is most often the case in my shooting.

That's good advice too...I once had a 2.8 28-70 Tokina and I loved it....but like an idiot I sold it...and still don't know just why?

I seem to do a little better with wildlife than with people...

Young Female Cardinal

Little Spanish Dove....I think maybe I feed my animals too well...hope she doesn't explode!

Best Regards!

Lol. I don't think you always have shooters error.
Well, before Full frame is out, 28-70 is not wide enough for normal use, we tends to forget about it. kekeke
Time to try the DFA24-70? Maybe you will find new love. hee.

NO! I know the Forbes, and it is down the road and around the corner across from Smith, not on Main St. Near Rt 5 in the center of town. The Forbes building is in similar style, but it is a lower, more spread out building with many more trees.
