The K1 in Iceland

Took a trip earlier this month. These were shot using the Sigma 35mm, 77mm Limited and the 15mm-30mm 2.8.

This one from a few days ago with the late afternoon light on the mountain and reflection in the river.

This is a water sculpture on a street corner in Old Town Gilbert. The granite sphere is suspended by the force of the water coming up out of the base. Periodically water comes out of the overhead spout and falls onto the rotating sphere.

Really nice, Awscreo ... the DA50 is very cheap, but if I didn't have the DA*55, I'd have no problem using it as my only walkaround lens. I love environmental portraits with a dark background, like your second pic.

Thanks! I didn't have enough resources to spend with the upcoming trip to China and k-1 just being purchased, so decided to get a cheap walk around lens. Turns out to be a nice little piece of glass)

Here is example how good the sensor is in the K-1. This shot of Great Horned Owl taken recently was shot at ISO 3200 and image still looks very good with very little grain.
Head of the owl was mostly in dark shade and in this shot some sunlight got thru the leaves and illuminated left eye.

K-1 and SMC A 400mm f/5.6 ISO-3200, 1/640, f/7.1

FA77 f1.8 Ltd. Original camera-jpg uploaded to Flickr. RAW not yet processed as I was travelling with a new Windows 10 tablet and all of my PP is done on Apple Macs at home.
