Yesterday, I spent part of the afternoon with my K-1/DFA 28-105 photographing on Quintana Beach, a small barrier island here in SE Texas. The winter here has been exceptionally warm even for an area that generally experiences moderate winters as a matter of course. As a result, the beach area had a hazy cast, as indicated in the photo below.

That misty look adds drama to the shot.

Really great shot and spot on editing! Almost makes me want to abandon my models and dive back into landscapes.
If you have any clue as to how vindictive squirrels can be, you don't even want a thought like that to enter your mind.

The second shot.....she is so lovely, and that hiney is as perfect as the come, just superb! As a "hiney man" with over 70 years of expertise, I know what I am talking about!

This little girly Cardinal was disgusted by the sap on the Peanut Tree, and by the "filthy rodents" that crave it.

Regards.....LeRolls, take a few days off, relax and rediscover the importance of what is important...and it isn't landscapes! We have plenty of great landscape artists here already, your expertise is needed just where it is at!

Can I get anyone to second that request?

A couple of shots of Laughing Kookaburras that graced my K-1 and D-FA 150-450 today. For those with the snowy and foggy winter shots, I would like you to know that it was 37 degrees Celcius here today.

Thanks, buddy.

I'm enjoying your exploration of drops on a hydrophobic surface. Warms the hear of a chemist/material scientist like me.

Good one. If one mentions bath time to our daughter's dog...he reacts in a similar way.

After selling my K5II, I recently traded my minty HD DA 35mm Ltd macro for a well maintained copy of M20 mm f/4.
Although corners & edges are not great I am liking the results from this tiny lens. Couple from today's morning walk.

Stunning! These shots are treacherously difficult to capture, and you did. Very nice. It got squeals of delight in this household.
