My first twilight photo. I had to take 5 shots at different EV's to finally get an image that matched what I saw with my naked eyes.
Best Regards, Bob

Takumar 1:4 300mm.
NZ Kereru - it has the absurd habit of looking straight at you like a bird of prey --- except it doesn't have bird of prey eyes so looks crosseyed!!

2) Bison nursery.
I suspect the bison in the nursery below are far more domesticated than those in your image. A youngster up close to adults emphasizes the massiveness of their head and forequarters.

Patriot,
You for sure have great subject matter but you for sure have an excellent eye for composing the shots. I really like most all of the photos you post and thank you for sharing.
Here are some spring growth shots, all taken with the DFA 24-70

Thank you, I really appreciate your opinion. I always try to make the picture interesting, I try different compositions and angles of shooting and then I choose the most successful ones.

I doubt it. Their normal attitude makes a bull seem downright passive by comparison. A lot of the bison in Yellowstone were pretty emaciated after a long hard winter. Ribs showing and the humps almost as thin in cross section as the bone that supported them. Some must have lost hundreds of pounds. No elk calves in sight yet. That has, no doubt, changed in the last two weeks.
