Excellent shots from you too! I wish we had some old steel cruising around like that.
I have the regular EX DG variety of the Sigma 12-24, f/4.5-5.6. No HSM.

Here's a few more I did today with it:

Excellent once again! Do you find you need to crop the 12-24 on the FF K-1?

The Sigma 12-24 is an FF lens, and the big issue is not cropping, but finding one.

Nope, it's a full frame lens.

A few more snapshots from my recently completed travels (I'm off to Cape town and Botswana in a two weeks, where I hope to have the opportunity for more photography).

The first shot is from Wivenhoe, Essex. Those that follow are from Athens and Ikaria in Greece.

I did some more practice with the black back drop. Items placed on the fleece did not perform as well in terms of pitch black background, so I had to brush over some areas that caught some of the flashes. For the images below, I picked ones that needed the lest work in post. I also used colored lens filters on the flashes to create some color effects. And I tried some product-type shots with some nifty playing cards I picked up. I need more practice at product photography. For all the shots, I used the 100mm DFA f/2.8 macro.

I love thrift shops!

Had a call today from a buddy who works in one of the downtown thrift shops. He knows I am into photography so wanted to alert me to a camera estate donation that was dropped off at the store. He described an old Sunpak flash at first then got into the lenses. Nothing interesting until he said, "And then there are these Tak-OO-mars." I stopped him right there and started to grill him on what they looked like, what was written on the front of the lens, etc. Turns out one was a Super-Tak 55/1.8 and the other was a Super-Tak 150/4! I got them both for 30 bucks. The 150 even had the matching lens hood and the original case. He brought them over after work. I slapped the 55 on the K-1 and proceeded to take a photo of the 150/4 wide open. He didn't want to be in the shot since he was on the other side of the table but I told him not to worry since at f/1.8 he wouldn't be recognizable. I was not prepared for the gorgeous bokeh this lens can produce. I may never put the DA50 on the K-1 again. Here is the shot with no added pp adjustments.

Nice shots. I like the Leica Rangefinder with it's F 3.5 50mm Elmar collapsible lens. I have an old llf body with the same lens.
