Picked up a brand new K-1 II + 28-105mm kit for €1770 yesterday, by handing in my K-30 and 50-200 WR kit lens as trade-in. Figured that was not a bad deal, especially since the K-30 had been suffering from the bad aperture block after about 7000 shots. Shop didn't mind, and they had another 5% discount running to make it a pretty attractive deal for me. So now I'm armed with a K-3 II and a K-1 II .

Here's one of my first shots with the K-1 II:

I was doing some table top in a lightbox the other day and was reminded that my cat must checkout each and every opened box in the house. Now he wants a super model contract, a unlimited supply of catnip, and time on the cat walk.
