Aye that's the one, it was the glint on the rails that made think of the that song and the fact the steps lead up to nowhere.

I accidentally found those photos today when looking into an SD card to check if it was empty and it wasn't.
Well worth the effort! Glad you didn’t lose the photo!

.

Today I Leitax adapted 3 lenses to Pentax K mount ( Leica R 135/2.8 ; Nikkor 135mm/2.8 AIS ; and Olympus Zuiko 50/1.2 ). Below is one of the test photos I took with the Oly on my K-1. This minty lens only cost me about $300. I like its' razor thin DOF wide open. Also, its' bokeh is very creamy. Here's the Leitax instructions for adapting it to K mount if anyone's interested.

The Oly 50/1.2 lens is a tiny/lightweight lens. Good colors, a little vignetting wide open, significant green fringing wide open, and it has below average contrast wide open. It's what I'd call medium sharp - while sharper than most vintage lenses its' no where near as sharp as better modern lenses (e.g. Pentax DFA 50/1.4). But if you like thin DOF and creamy bokeh, it just might be worth putting up with its' shortcomings to get the nice bokeh.

The beginnings of Eagle nesting season. The male brought a fish for the female, cementing the pairing. They went off an copulated shortly afterwards. 150-450 cropped substantially. I will get closer once the nest is established. I don't want to give them any reason to consider another site right now. I hope to get to the nest twice a week over the summer.

These are awesome photos, especially of these regal birds...I hope their offspring are protected and nurtured to adulthood....looking forward to seeing additional pics. Why not open a separate thread so we can comment exclusively on the developing story of this new "power couple".

I'm torn between these two, I kinda like the negative space on the first one, without him looking at me, but, the detail in the second one with a tighter crop in post, with eye contact is hard to not like.
Got a preference? (there is no wrong answer)

Both are very good but I like the composition of the first shot better!

Both are awesome..I’d be thrilled with either...but I’m going for that sneaky look he’s giving you in the second photo!
