Bombing On The Steps In Edinburgh

Thought I was doing well...

Great lighting showing the unevenness going up the steps then... the bomb went off.

Rosebay Willowherb Dreams

Chamaenerion angustifolium, known in North America as Fireweed some parts of Canada as Great Willowherb. It is native throughout the temperate Northern Hemisphere, including large parts of the boreal forests.

All that said... I just like the stuff for its bold splash of colour.

I'm with you on that one, the softness in the pink/magenta tones contrasts nicely on a bed of green.

Love the flowers, love the execution of the image. That's about as good as it gets for a flower image.

Cross posted, only posted of the afternoon posted 4 times.

I was out with the K-3 and DA 10-17. so you know today I'm going out with the K-1 and the same lens, because you have to find out. The K-1 is good down to about 14mm.

Starting with Tia

You can get an idea of what it looks like where we walk you won't get from many other lenses.

And ending with Tia.
