I'm on the hunt for a larger ball head. My Manfrotto 496RC2 (
which I adapted to Arca) is too small for say the DFA 15-30. I picked up the carbon fibre Benro and Gimbal last Fall and have been learning to use it. It balances my Sigma 120-400 OK. I have a
wide angle adapter for it, so it serviceable for the big wide angle but probably not ideal. The rig is lighter than my Manfrotto 055 and 804RC2. The DFA 70-210 is a bit light, it would probably balance oK with a KP but the K1 is too heavy.
Note about that pic, it is a focus stack - to get some water freezing shutter speeds, i was shooting wide open and higher ISO.
