2 shots from Norway. I have just returned after driving my son and some of his belongings to Trondheim, where he will study at the university.
So a lot of driving, in total 2500 km, plus 2 x 10 hours on a ferry. Not much time to enjoy and photograph the landscape - but I'm sure I'll be back ...

K1 ans SMC A 2.8/20mm

Great sky, nicely composed Volley. 20mm primes can be difficult to use.

Shooting the sea stacks on Ruby Beach in Olympic National Park, Washington, I decided to expose for the background in the first shot and the foreground in the second. When I combined them in Lightroom HDR, the human figure (in the second shot) was gone! Saved me from having to do it first in post. Is this normal or a freak occurrence?

Thanks! I don't know why, but composition with the A 2.8/20mm seems easier than with 2 UWA zooms I have used before.

Having great cloud scapes helps a lot. I have the FA 20-35 f4 that i'm learning how to compose with impact. A work in progress as they say.

Last night I put this lens to the test shooting a Bruce Munro night light installation in Paso Robles.
This is what it looks light prior to darkness and shooting it wide open at ISO 6400+. Those shots
later after I get the time to do proper editing. August 15, 2021
