I really enjoy you showing what the Soli can do when used like a normal 20mm landscape lens and stopped down to 5.6. People were probably starting to think that all it could do was crazy bubbly bokeh close-ups.

They are surprisingly good and sharp, a very over looked and multi purpose lens. If Pentax copied this element design, added A/F and modern coatings, I'd buy one.

They could call it the Pentax HDFA 20mm F2.8 BOWOW LTD
(Bubbly Only When Open Wide) Woof!

This is Seven Devils Hills area of Idaho looking west toward Hells Canyon....love the results Aurora HDR can make even from a single image....
a better rendition....the whole process of getting to a final usually takes a couple of weeks for an image I really care about...this first one is obviously lacking contrast and punch....I see that now.......so the new rendition is attached...

There was some minor storm damage on these orchids after a brief hail storm several weeks ago - nothing the clone brush can't fix.

The advantage of posting more than one picture in a single post is to get more likes, the disadvantage being it's not possible to know which image people like the most.
