Thank you! I just answered that question on Flickr:

Nothing serious. Everybody laughed at me when I fell while trying to save my equipment after a series of waves came crashing... Besides that, only a swollen foot and a couple of new scars in my left knee

More evidence that great art demands great suffering?

This needs to be seen on a big screen for the sheer detail in it, well timed and exposed. TFS

Even a face in that wave. Just not sure of what. Short face bear comes to mind. (It is a good thing for us that they are no longer around.)

Everything has to align. The way the bird is positioned to the lens so both head and feathers are in focus. That one was definitely the best of about 60.

They are really cute. White Throated Sparrows are the "Oh Canada" bird in that the song sounds a bit like " Oh my Canada da-da da-da " These guys are trying, but they only get the "Oh my" right, and struggle with the rest. Who knew young birds had to learn to sing the song? Hopefully they get it right eventually.

I throw seed into the shrubbery for them. They love foraging around under the cover of dense bushes. So I see the numbers when they come and go. But I usually can't see more than 2 or 3 at a time even though the bushes are moving from the foraging of the others as they make their way through them.
