Last of this Osprey series.

I thought it was fascinating how the Osprey closes his inner eyelid when pulling on the bit of fish that might snap and hit him in the eye, and here I thought it was just for high-speed dives into the water to catch fish or something.

We have had already a few days of very nice weather ... warm enough to ride my motorbike! And now this ...

K1 and my old but very nice MF Panagor 2.8/90mm macro lens
Yes, I know, Exif says 85mm . But you can't select 90mm in the menue

I always thought Grebe's looked like such innocent little harmless birds...

I'm curious, do you use this lens often for landscapes? If so, do you have some sample images?

I don't, I just had it at that moment and decided against a lens change because it is as sharp at infinity as it is at macro distances.
I'll try to take more landscape shots this weekend if you want. In the meantime you can check this postcard at Flickr for more resolution.

Last night the cold and snow arrived in Bavaria. You inspired me to also make a series of garden images ...

All images K-1 with DFA100WR, two cropped to 4:3 ratio.
