Ricoh K-1 sample images - when were those taken?

Just wondering when were those Ricoh K-1 sample images on Ricoh website taken?

I am curious as exif data on first two pictures says Nov 2015 which doesn't look correct. The first two pictures are from Leh, India (Thiksey monastery) and I would expect a bit of snow in those pictures at that time of the year. Maybe K-1 was ready much before Nov 15 for beta testing.

Any idea?

Sample Image? PENTAX K-1 | RICOH IMAGING

I don't know about Leh, but here in Europe this winter was very odd. Almost no snow in some places that regularly get a lot.
But yes, it is possible that Pentax would put in the wrong date into the prototype, so that it is more difficult for their business rivals to figure out when the camera will be ready in case of leaks.
OH and nice photos on that page, haven't seen them yet

The pixel shifted image was significantly sharper. Amazing it was.

Yes surprisingly so (at least to this naive viewer who hasn't kept up with what pixel shifting is capable of). I wonder if you could do a subtraction between the two images to see where the pixel shifted one changed things the most..

Have you noticed that was shot with 28-105 kit lens?
I had no doubt on buying K-1 but I was almost 100% sure that I'll skip that 28-105 kit lens.
This sample http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/japan/products/k-1/ex/img/ex-pic04.jpg was also shot with 28-105 @ 53mm f/4.5 (probably wide open) - just look at the corners!
Now I'm really not sure about skipping.

I'm beginning to think that this kit lens is really excellent wide open, which together with 5 stops SR might just make it highly functional in spite of the f/5.6 at the long end. Hope to rent it this summer.

This one was taken in Queenstown New Zealand.

Not much snow on the hills, so outside of the winter months. The 6th December 2015 date would fit ok.
