Nice article. I don't recognise the faces that were with Pentax before Ricoh's takeover. Anyone knows what happened to them?

That's because you don't know all the faces.
At least Mr. Tetsuo Hosokawa and Mr. Shigeru Wakashiro were with Pentax in 2008:
