Thats great! the noise at 25k is as good as my old 5d3 at 6400 or better.

Do you have a 1530 shot at 100 iso with lots of detail and contrast?

Thank you again!

These photos are not artistic in any way, their purpose was to test depth of field and angle of view.

just had a play with those myself.

I conclude... HANG IT ALL; IM ENVIOUS!

seriously the files are simply stunning. I mean you can even push the sharpness to a stunningly 150 in ACR without really seeing the artifacts, at 300% zoom, yes you can see them, at a 100%.. well its there, but only if you know what you are looking for.

The noise at 25k ISO is not bothersome (to me) until you zoom in to a 50%, given you have the right lens there shouldnt be that much need to crop in real life situations.

Only thing I'd like to see now is an ISO comparison chart, to see how the color-retention performs compared to ISO 100.

However, to all those who can afford this beast the K-1 is going to be: Congratulations youre going to have an awesome piece of technical engineering.

Tryphon4's files must have slipped past me, now that i had a look at them.. is it just me or does the right side seem exceptionally soft? Is it just OOF or maybe something more severe e.g. decentering? Please forgive, my intention is not to steer trouble, only to point out a perhaps technical fault, so the lens can get exchanged for a better copy, should it in fact prove decentered.

It is just out of focus zone. Using a 24x36mm sensor you have to close the diaphragm if you plan to use hyperfocal. Here i should use F/11 instead of F/5.6
