K-1 availability

Interesting news from Japanese Camera store Yaotomi (twitter)
My Japanese is rusted, but here it is:

1) The majority of K-1 initial production is geared for Japanese market. The batch manufactured during May will be distributed to oversea markets first.
2) As a result, K-1 stock will be low in Japan this month.
3) Please order as early as you can.
4) The earliest availability will be the end of May (in Japan, I believe.)

The K-1 has so much success that some shops are already sold out, the date of new deliveries is not yet known.

Because the units that were delivered have all sold out

Japan obviously got the camera first, followed by Europe the next day, followed by the US a week later >.<

At the moment it seems if you order the K-1 from the Ricoh US webstore they are shipping it the same day.

@forestskier - great! Perhaps if you can find the time you could provide translation to the text on the slides in this post and give us a summary of the relevant section of the seminar by Tanaka Kimio.
