In Germany we (atleast in my case) have problems of availability as well. Iīm still waiting for my preorder. Demand seems to be extremely high.
That is a good sign, but i donīt want to wait much longer. I need my new toy!

Either demand is extremely high (I hope so), or the production is extremely low. Or both
No clue when I'll receive mine...

Ace Photo seems to have more K-1's in stock according to the website. Ace Photo Camera Store

Well... Ritz was incorrect with their "In Stock - Ships in 1 Business Day" note on their website. It took a lot of effort to get ahold of a customer service rep, but it looks like there were 12 orders placed for the 1 camera available.

After calling around, The Looking Glass in Berkeley had two in stock. Drove an hour and got my K1!

Very happy with the cameras' functionality compared to my k3
