What QR plate are you using with the K1?

While we're waiting for Kirk or RRS to produce a proper plate or L bracket, I would like to know what generic plates people are using on their K1s.

None of the ones I have seem to be suitable, and I don't think the offerings from Kirk or RRS will be ready in time for an up coming trip.

Any suggestions?

I am using just a 120mm arca-swiss QR plate on the base of the battery grip, until a L-bracket is available.

The Peak Design ProPlate (PROplate Tripod Plate | Peak Design)- let's me use it with either ARCA or Manfrotto and attach my tripod, monopod as well as the Peak Design Slide and Clutch too. Used it on my K5 and my K-1 with no problems

Still using the Manfrotto 323 RC2 with 200PL plate system. Cheap and effective. ;-)

I use the Manfrotto 410PL (with 394). It snaps on one-handed, is easy to release and is super stable with heavier lenses. It‘s metal but not much heavier.

Generic L-Bracket for K-1

I've been quite happy with my generic Three Legged Thing L-bracket. There is some door obstruction but for the savings seen I can loosen and slide the bracket now and then when I need to change the battery. I have a thread on this bracket:

The K-1 specific L-Bracket Genesis PLL-K1 has a price of $66.49, which is kind of cheap for an individual l-bracket and especially including shiping from poland:

Yea, i also use it. Very good even for starters and very reasonable prices. And very good in combination with shoulder straps like SunSniper.
But when you come to supertele lenses, at least you have to use two systems. Like 200PL for everything below 2kg and arca swiss for long and heavy lenses.
