General consensus on K1?

The K1 is the best camera I have ever had in my hands. To get a better camera you have to spend at least twice as much. That pretty much sums the case up. The film FA lenses work nicely with it. I just put the inexpensive 80-320 f4.5-f5.6 on it and at 100% the images are very usable; they were soft on the K3. Remember using a full frame lens on an APS-C sensor means you are throwing away about 56% of the image the lens produced.

This is the bargain hunter in me coming out. I just figured they would have some sort of packages put together for differing crowds.

Bundle 1 = Body + grip
Bundle 2 = Add the FA 28-105
Bundle 3 = Swap lenses with the FA 28-70
Bundle 4 = Add ...

Just makes for a simpler shopping experience. For instance, right now Adorama is not listing a battery grip under the accessories tab for the K-1 (unless I'm totally missing it).

People still shoot in jpeg? What is this, 1992?

(full disclosure, I just bought a Polaroid SX-70 on Saturday to keep the K-1 company. It could be argued the SX-70 shoots only in 'analog jpeg' - no negatives!)
