If anything The Camera Store might be biased towards Pentax, their 645Z review was also extremely positive. I believe Chris stated it was the best camera avaiable so not really surprised by the positivity.

Now that's a great review. And, did you see the images they were taking? But the sports and video parts, that should be required viewing before anyone buys a Pentax. There's a pile off people on the forum i would really like to ask "What part of 'Pentax doesn't make professional sports or Video cameras!' is it you don't understand?" After all these years I'd really just like to kick all their whining asses to Mars.

Another great Camera Store review. I had little doubt the K1 would do well. A fabulous camera and a fabulous value. But I think I'm sticking with APS-C.

What you write is true. It is also worth noting that the Camera Store is known to produce reviews highly critical of quite a few cameras. And they are not afraid to do comparison reviews with winners and losers. I don't have a K1 nor do I plan to buy one. But the camera may very well be this good. Note that they were honest about the K1's good but not great autofocus performance.

Yes, let's make fun of the people who claim that previous Pentax cameras with previous versions of SAFOX cannot reliably track on the z-axis because a new camera with an improved SAFOX gets a larger proportion of images in focus at a bit over half the frame rate

I also happen to like The CameraStore reviews and find them mostly honest; complaining when there's reason and praising when they like something. I also like the fact that they actually show what they do with the equipment, not just plah plah.
