Most popular new cameras have these early periods where it is hard to find one.There is nothing unusual about the tough time people are having finding a K-1 right now. It is a great camera, there is demand, Ricoh will eventually catch up. All pretty normal for newly introduced hot products. What is somewhat unusual is the absence of credible problems or buyer's regret.

My local store at Abu Dhabi had 7 items. All are being sold. One of them was mine.
The camera bring Pentax to next level indeed. It is almost cheaper than D810 about 35%
