Best overall: hard to beat that given the target audience for this camera!

The fact the flagship K-1 is in the $1200-2000 category up against the likes of (3rd tier) Nikon D610 and Canon 6D reinforces the value for money. No wonder it did well. But it would have been interesting if DP had also included it in the Semi-Pro category (as they did with the Sony) up against the (2nd tier) D810 and 5D Mark III. Price aside, that would seem to be the more relevant category for comparison.

If you scroll down to the comments section, someone says something along the same lines and someone from DPReview said that the review is almost finished. That was 2 weeks ago though...

It could also be taken into the other 1200-2000$ category (which they limited to only crop cameras) to point out how some FF cameras compete with APS-C models in this crossover price range.

I'm sort of surprised the A7 II would score so well. If I had the choice between those two cameras, I would choose the K-1 any day of the week unless video was my thing. Other than that, the K-1 is a lot closer in specs to a A7r II than the A7 II.

Me too, but I think weight is considered an argument for A7 II too.

Actually, the $2000 Sony a7 II was not included in the "semi-pro" category. That category included the more-expensive a7S ($2200), a7S II ($3000), and a7R II ($3200).

I'm guessing that for "semi-pro" use the AF abilities of the K-1 would have been a liability compared to the D810 and 5D III, as well as the slightly slower burst rate.
