If you want to compare an apple to an orange, if you really want to say "
The sun and the moon are the same size" (even though they only have approximately the same apparent size when viewed from earth) then be my guest.
I prefer to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges. You cannot sensibly compare images with a different field of view. Once you create a proper basis for comparison (same distance, same field of view) then my statement becomes clear.
Please refrain from further commenting on this topic, it would just derail the thread. Please create your own thread, if you feel the need to correct someone else's "mistakes".
