How to choose the space with the K-1?

I hadn't realised that... So colour space in-camera only affects JPEGs as far as the image data is concerned - is that right?

Correct. RAW has no colorspace until one is applied to it by the camera or image processing app. And then it's not RAW anymore.

The raw file includes a preview jpeg. I think this should use the in camera chosen color space. If this is true and if you use the adobe rgb setting this may have an effect on showing the preview image on the camera display. If the display has a somewhat restricted color space, the preview image may be shown a little dull. Speculations - didn't test it.

This pretty much has to be true, but I don't really see it as a big deal. I don't use the screen for much other than chimping composition.

Although I'm sometimes viewing the liveview histogram that relies on a preview jpeg it shouldn't be a big problem in most cases. So it doesn't bother me either.
