Lensbaby on K-1

I am learning to work with the Lensbaby. Had this fun toy for some time already, but with my new K1 it is like a whole new fresh start.

Just reporting here that Lensbaby does not show excessive vignetting (unless you want it to). Colours are nice in the pictures. (did quite some post processing on the colours)

Some sample pics are in the post your photos department on this forum. C&C welcome.

Are there more K1ians who took their Lensbaby out? Would love to see some results!

Nice photos guys!

The lens baby seems quite at home on the K-1 and these samples are more appealing that what I have seen on APS-C so far. I'm now quite keen to get one!

They are fun. I do enjoy both the sweet35 and edge80 optics as they are completely different in the focus achieved.

I am bumping this just in case someone tried astrophotography with a bokeh creative aperature in. You may ask why, but it would be useful as a background/texture you could later use in photoshop.

Interesting thought, I might have to give it a try with light-painting this winter.

Happy to find this will work. With the astro mode was thinking what wide angle stuff I have and I do have some pinhole and other Lensbaby stuff I've not used in ages. Excited to try it out!

Hello

I recently was able to get a used Lensbaby 3G for my K1 - in a set with macro, wide angle and tele photo lens. I already had a 3G (that the one with the 3 thread pins for fine adjustements), bit using the 50mm on the K1 with LV, Tilt Screen and Focus Peeking is a perfect combination.

Are you aware that there is a specific Lens-Club for Lensbaby-pictures?

Plastic Optic Macro on K1

Greetings all. I know it's late for the reply but been awhile since I've logged in.
Just did a few shots with the Plastic Optic on a de-glassed TC, about 27mm long.
Very pleased with the results.
Also performed very well on the K-01 IR

Ok, let me share a few of mine. This was just really to have a shoot with the K1, but I did not go crazy, I tried the Velvet and the Composer.

Very nice!!! Been curious how the Velvet performed. Really like the soft (yet in focus) feel.
Makes me want to get out with the Lensbaby again.

Hi Mirra, I'd love to see your Lensbaby photos but I don't subscribe to facebook.
Could you load a couple up to this post?
