Pentax K-1 - Made the leap

Order Finally Placed after some serious savings...For some it's Cars, Other's Boy Toys, For Us Photographers, It's always about having the tools to create the perfect image.....All set now for a very long time - Full Frame, 36 MP, Weather Sealed, No AA Filter, Built In Shake Reduction..Thank You Good Lord....
Moving on up from the K-3 2 and will always remain within the Pentax family - My lens collection will be all primes....31/55/77/100 - Don't see wider than 31 so I think I am good....PENTAX K-1 Special site | RICOH IMAGING

Maybe consider a 24, it could be around the corner...it was first FL I put on my K1 and it does the landscape job well.

I remember my first 24 on film, just remember how wide it felt after a few 28-xx zooms. The M24-50 followed soon after, my favorite backpacking lens!

Well done!

I'm still saving but hope to pick one up by Christmas, all going well.

Nice lenses to start with too! I'm going to be starting with FA35, FA50, Samyang 85, FA100, Tamron SP 70-200, and Tokina ATX-Pro I 28-70. Along with some manual primes. Definitely on the lookout for a decent 24mm though.

Good on ya. I have made the jump from a K-50 recently. A big jump but definitely worth it, the K-1 is in different class but not intimidating. The extra buttons and dials looks a bit over killed initially but everything will fall into place once you start using it. Your set of primes will find a nice home on the K-1.

I am very pleased with my Sigma
24mm 1.8 on my K-1. But I can also imagine you being happy as a 100% Pentax owner. ENJOY!

Good for you! Enjoy your new K-1. For wider than 31mm you might consider the FA* 24mm ƒ2.
