Night Images with the K-1

The biggest thing with the K-1 is the data that is there. I shoot these at 1/200 5.6 and they are almost black, but then I can pull the data out of it and get these. These are a couple from some weddings I did over the summer. This opened up a whole new world of experimenting. Love it

incredible!
How did you achieve that the faces and bodies facing away from the light/flash were still illuminated? Also how did you manage to have the sky filled with blue tones and clouds or is that photoshop ? Especially the first picture is just outstanding!!

That was my point about the detail. Even though they were backlit I was able to pull the detail back. There is no photoshopping, just adjusted clarity, exposure, highlights, shadows and black and whites.

The blue haze was a happy accident. Just happened as I lowered the whites out

Love your third shot. Really pushing the envelope nicely with the camera. Great vision, set up, execution. Thatʻs a very lucky couple.

Cool shots indeed! Can't wait to get my hands on the K1.
Can you share the ISO the pics were shot at?
