I have an F*300mm and I'd like to find a Tripod mount for it. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one ?

reallyrightstuff makes a foot for the F 4.5/300
For FA 300 4.5 make a search for tripod collars: Tripod Mount Ring for the Pentax-FA*300/4.5: Pentax SLR Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
And then nodalninja makes something for SDM 300: Photography Accessories | Panoramic Photography | Tripod Head - Nodal Ninja

Worth a look.... https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/265443-f-30...llar-foot.html

This foot also allows you to file a "V" down each side of the foot and then the tripod head grips it without the addition of a plate.....very neat....assuming one has the skills and a smallish triangle file.

From a pizzamaker61..... picture taken with F*300/4.5

It is the same part as the "Pentax Tripod Mount for Q adapter" part number 38100. You can find them on ebay.

The Pentax UK website shows it but the US site does not. Tripod Mount for Q adapter - RICOH IMAGING EUROPE S.A.S

I have used this part on my 60-250 and 200 and it matches exactly. As far as I can tell the 300 uses the same part too.

I prefer the Nodal Ninja foot and that is currently in use.

I'm afraid that is incorrect information for the F* 300 f4.5 lens. The foot you mention will fit the DA* 300 f4, not the older F* 300 f4.5.

Apologies, I thought the question was regarding the DA 300.
