Does any one know where I can see Pentax K-1 with Sigma 20-40mm EX DG sample photos. Looking for 100% crops or 36MP full photos?

I don't believe it is or will be made into a Pentax mount

Short of holding it up to the camera, I don't think you will see any test photos from this lens on pentax

This lens was previously made in PKA mount, as I had one for a few years, which I sold off earlier this year. It's very rare and a good performer based on my experiences.

I'd suggest checking out Flickr and running a search for Sigma 20-40 and see what you can find. I don't recall if you could then filter down by camera model or not, but that's a start.

I tried and it doesn't find any. "sigma pentax ex dg 20-40" rearranging the terms doesn't help. Change Pentax for Nikon or Canon and you get some shots.

Shoot, I made a mistake. I thought you were referencing the newest version of this lens (24-35mm) they recently released. Got that wrong, sorry. Too bad this one it isn't a Pentax mount.

Hi Pepper berry farm. All the results that come up K30 K5II K-3. K everthing except K-1 Of the 15 images I clicked on at that link No K-1

I recently purchased a pristine example of the Sigma EX DG 2.8 20-40 pentax mount lens. After receiving the F--- error and having the auto focus shut down the viewfinder and screen when depressing the shutter halfway, I sent the lens off to Sigma America in New York. They sent it back with the message that the lens was "beyond service life".

I then emailed C.R.I.S describing the problem and asking if they could inspect and repair the lens. Their response was that it is not compatible with the K-1 and it's firmware could not be updated.

I have not confirmed this by testing the lens on my K-3 to verify that it works properly. Nor have I tried to use it in full manual mode on the K-1.

I have had this lens for about 7 years now. It is a very good performer and AF is very good on MZ-S. I recently bought the K-1 and probably the first step was to put this lens on.
The image quality is very good, although I just started to learn and tweak the K-1 to my liking. AF is on the other hand is a bit of a disappointment. At 40mm it is acceptably accurate, but at 20mm pictures are nowhere near to the aimed focus point. I doubt it is the K-1 as all my other lenses seem to perform top with this camera.
I tried to adjust AF in camera, but it is not adjustable to different focal lengths of a single zoom lens. So I'll probably not use much on the K-1 or just manual focus it which is kind of hard at 20mm.
