Wide angle recommendation for K-1

Currently I have the FA35, and an M28 prime for landscapes. I also have the DA 16-45 which is good to about 20mm on the K-1. I am thinking of selling the DA 16-45 and getting something in the area of a used 20-24mm prime. Auto focus is not that important when it comes to wide angles and smaller apertures, so I don't think I should have to spend much for a focal length that won't as often be used.

The DA 16-45 is not bad on the wide end, but bulky to carry around just for FF @ 20-24mm. Also, I am thinking it will be more useful to someone who might buy my K20d.

Any suggestions? What about instead stitching together multiple shots for the wider landscape shots? Is that a decent option?

If you like UWA the Sigma 12-24 is wonderful on the K1.

Pentax M 20mm F4, Pentax A 20mm F2.8 Sigma Super-Wide II 24mm F2.8 or a pricier Pentax FA* 24mm F2. The sigma is probably the cheapest option. There is an MF and an AF version.
Stitching is very well possible as long as you don't have anything complicated in the foreground. Then you will start to see errors.

I forgot about the https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-20mm-F2.8-Lens.html

I imagine a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 would be ideal?

I forgot about the SMC Pentax-FA 20mm F2.8 Reviews - FA Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

If you are happy with manual focus and exposure the M 20mm f4 is a terrific lens, but make sure you get a hood for it.

The FA* 24mm f2 is a Pentax classic, I intend to use it a lot more now that I have a K1.

The Samyang 24mm is another high-performance, affordable choice. Plus that gets you F1.4 speed

I second on the FA* 24mm. Yeah, it is not in production anymore and it's an older design... but the images are excellent and full of character (something I don't always see in the "perfect" lenses released now-a-days.)

Another one by Samyang would be the 24/3.5 TS. That's a tilt-shift lens, giving you perspective control and good ol' Scheimpflug.

The Samyang 14/2.8 is good value for money.
Sharp all the way to the edges.
The trade off is the distortion, but that is correctable to a point and often not obvious.

K1+Samyang 14/2.8

M20/4 is small and nice.
Not the sharpest on the edges, but certainly enough.
Corners are weak, but they either get cropped off anyway after distortion correction or don't contribute the a photo to be of bother.

K1+M20/4

K24/2.8 properly adjusted for the edges to be at/near infinity is actually very nice.
Small, fast and a pop to the images if used in the f3.5-f4 region.

K1+K24/2.8

Just for completeness, since nobody else mentioned the elephant in the room, the D FA 15-30 in Pentax's current wide solution for the K-1. It's a very good lens indeed.

There is the FA 20 also but better is using newer lenses, is there a catalog of which lenses the K-1 supports auto corrections in jpeg, that is an important parameter for me.
