A battery charger question.

So, I owned a K-50, which has a different battery charger and battery than the K-1 takes, but the K-50 battery charger cable was passed through some furnishings (and into a drawer) that I would rather leave than go through the hassle of removing and swapping out for the K-1's power cable (that runs from A/C to the battery charger).
I noticed that when removing the K-50's battery charger that the K-1's connects fine into it, and tbh I'd like to keep a second battery charger cable handy for when on holidays etc.

So.. am I ok to use the K-50's power cable and run it to the K-1's battery charger? I mean ok the chargers are clearly different, but the cable running from them to the wall seems the same, no harm down right?

The mains cable is the same, so no harm can be done there.

Yes. They are universal 2 prong cables that a lot of other electronic components also use. Spare can be found on Amazon
Sometimes they can be polarized but pentax chargers do not use polarized ones.

Yes, it's universal. I bought a K30 a few months ago that came with the original charger but no power cord. It took me all of a minute to find a compatible one in a junk box. I think it had originally come with a power brick for a laptop that had gone bad.
