Tether card 2 only?

I'm shooting with dual high-speed sd cards and running a tether-tools cable into my MacBook Pro, but the speeds are unbearably slow.

I shoot writing raw to card 1 and jpg to card 2. For studio I really only need tethering for image viewing on the fly to monitor shots, check sharpness, and for hair/makeup people to see what I'm seeing through the camera - I am not processing while shooting and don't need RAW in the tether.

I'm wondering - is there any way to tell the camera to ONLY send the JPG / Card2 down the tether? That would be only about a tenth of the data size and should dramatically improve preview time, but I can't find a way to do it.

any tips? Software I'm missing? seems like this should be obvious...

This is certainly possible with Image Transmitter. No idea about tether tools, though technically it should be doable.
