Can you turn off lcd?

If I remember correctly, I was able to disable my main lcd and use only what I saw on top of the small one and in viewfinder. It was nice as it saved some battery life.

Is it possible for the K-1?

I really don't have a need for it to be always on, I just need a brief view after each shot is taken and that's it. I've got all the information I need in my viewfinder and on small lcd on top of the k-1.

By the look of it, there's no such option. Can anyone confirm it?
