I'm leaving for a road trip at the end of the week and had planned to take my K-1, but the power switch on my K-1 will not move out of the Off position. I see repair service in my future but am hoping there may be someone with a suggestion for a workaround. I do have a battery grip if there's anything that can be done with that.

Happened to me on a crop body.
I just cleaned it even if it wasn't dirty and heated that place with a hair dryer.
After that I removed a battery and it was just "use the force Luke".
I thought I'll break it but it moved somehow halfway and than full way to On position.
After a few switches On and Off with a lot of force it becomes much easier to switch the camera and after a few hunder on/off switches it returned back to normal and never happened again.
It was 3 years ago and I'm still using that camera as a backup body.
