up grading the k1

dose any one know any more about the up grade for the k1 to the new k1 mark11, i read that you can send in and they will up grade the k1 to the k1 mark 11, for around $550? us?

There is a whole thread on it here. Essentially you send it in through Precision and they replace the motherboard. You get the newer Prime engine and the accelerator.
