Raw and the autofocus thingy

Current initial firmware seems to only offer very minor improvements at very high ISO from 10.000 to 102.000 (though it is still outstandingly nice):

Mark I
File-Upload.net - Ordner 1522355115

Mark II
File-Upload.net - Ordner 1522355454

(from a German forum user)

Then there is:

who says:

After using the regular K-1 daily for the last 3 weeks, I had the chance to test the mark 2 with the DFA* 70-200 when i was working in the Ricoh stand last Professional Imaging fair here in Holland.
I can confirm that AF indeed has been significantly improved.
On both topics I foresee happiness, trolling, jumping off cliffs, joy, hatred, great results and endless whining. You know it.

Moderator's note: The links for the K-1 and K-1II files above have been removed as they were .EXE files, and therefore a possible security risk.

you may want to use a different way to share the pictures. with the pictures folks have to download all kinds of extra, unwanted software.

Not my images, so it is what it is. Whoever is interested is free to look at them or not.

And with my browser and settings I don't see any issues. Disabling Javascript (not required to download from that site) and using an adblocker is never a bad idea.

The download is for a .exe file. Big no-no!

I suggest uploading as a zip to a site that allows a clean download of the original file.

Folks - I'm quite certain @beholder3 only meant to inform and assist, but for everyone's security, I've removed the links in his post.
