Custom image mode set by mistake. Is there a simple workaround in Lightroom?

I sat on my camera rushing inside the car, and much later I found that the custom image setting "bleach bypass" was set by mistake.
It was very dark, past sunset, so I found about it much later...
I am very very limited with my post processing skills, but I'm aware that shooting raw all the info captured by the sensor are there, so the custom image setting should only affect the way the image is viewed on screen. The original data is still there.
Is there a simple way to reset the setting to "bright" with a simple Lightroom procedure?
I couldn't try cause I don't have the computer with me, but I need to know cause I care very much about the shots I've taken, and now the pictures look plain ugly reviewed in camera. If there is no simple way to reset the image setting, I better go back and try to shoot the same subjects again...

I guess my question is a bit naive, and probably if I had a computer with me I would find out myself, but I can't, so I thank in advance for the help

Cheers

Paolo

If you shot raw, you can batch process the raw files in camera, no computer needed. This will match the bright profile you want. You don't need the computer, you start this from the playback menu and you have options for jpeg profiles and all the other usually settings.

The simplest way is to go to the raw file hit the down arrow on the four way controller choose RAW development and select the raw files to convert. Choose Bright in the settings to convert to JPEGS with bright setting...no computer needed. Can obviously be done in other ways also.

You can relax. For RAW files (PEF or DNG, either one) there is no need to panic. The custom image modes only apply to JPEG* and the images will appear proper on import to Lightroom.

Steve

* If brought into PDCU, that program has native support for the custom image settings and will apply them on initial import, though I am pretty sure that the setting may be overridden even there.

Found a computer with Lightroom.
The custom image mode seems to affect the visualisation of the image for a short while, until Lightroom creates the thumbnail.
After that, it makes no difference at all.
I suspected that, but I never tried before.
Thanks for the help

Yep...Lightroom uses the embedded preview until it generates its own based on the import settings. This behavior is settable, however, and some users opt to delay preview generation in the interest of faster import.
