Get there when the cloud darken , take the shot , and then run as fast as you can to avoid being completely soaked

Change in light and in weather is a blessing for landscape photography. No rain = no rainbows. Some of the hardest days to shoot are the perfectly sunny ones without clouds and harsh shadows.

Love your shot. It's only missing a solo bird in the sky or a dog at the end of the pier. Thanks for sharing!

Or if in fact your a Scot, you can just stand there... as you already totally impervious to such things by nature of where you live.

I also miss the obligatory rocks in the foreground ;-)
