Welcome to Pentax and the forum. Fantastic looking watch and image. Very dramatic composition and the exposure is spot on. The macro lens passed the test. Do you photograph a lot of watches? Believe there's a watch group here that shares info and photos.
Thanks for sharing ,

I like the dark background. Gives an elegant feeling to the shot.

A nice bit of bling! Well taken with the reflections off of the surface too.

Wow that petty much perfect. If I was being super picky there is a glow near the 4 that I find a little distracting but thats probably pretty hard to avoid.

Well done!

Greetings to Kenia and welcome to the forum. Now that is a beautiful photo of a watch indeed. (A corporate client might want you to get rid of that glow near the 4 that kiwi_jono pointed out, though.)

Reminds me that I still want that 100-mil Macro WR that has sat on my wishlist for, like, ten years now.

Which version of the Pentax 100mm f2.8 Macro do you have? There are a few: A, F, FA, and D FA. I picked up a copy of the F version about 6 months ago. I love it; it's my sharpest lens, and is good at 3D-ish rendering.

You can look up your version in the reviews section here on the forum and get other users opinions and comments.

Did you photo stack or use a narrow aperture?

Cool image.

Eventually I will get that lens. Too many others on my list in front. But one day!

I like the lighting on it. So you get the reflection on the surface.
