Ricoh was quoted as saying
No association was made with the 100th anniversary of Asahi Optical, but I cannot believe that they would make another limited edition of this one camera in such a short time.
Note “(tentative name)” and Actual name, which is KP J Limited.
Of course they would make a KP Special 100th Anniversary Edition (in addition to the KP J Limited). It’s the 100th Anniversary. People will buy them. There is precedent.
What would you bet EVERY 100th Anniversary Limited Edition body includes the LE Hot Shoe Cover?

or Gunmetal, which was a
second K-3 special edition labeled Prestige Edition, in addition to the somewhat limited K-3 Premium Silver Edition. There is precedent.
