Quite likely I would have thought, they have for the K-5 / K-3 / K-1 and did for the K-3ii.

DOES The KP Limited (not Custom) have something to do with the 100th Anniversary? I don’t think I ever made the connection.

Indeed! Since the KP comes in silver and the K-1 Limited was silver perhaps gunmetal versions of the K-1ii and KP or different colored "leatherette" accents along with the AOCo logo on the prism/flash housing.

Nowhere is the word "anniversary" is to be found in the announcement for PENTAX KP J Limited except in relation to 100th Anniversary events. There were also just "J Limited KP Tours":
